The gorgeous building of the Berliner Philharmonic was constructed in the years 1960-1963. This master piece was full field by a genius architect Hans Scharoun. He accomplished it in a form of a singular building, where the main concert hall is designed in the form of a pentagon; and, of course, such form is extremely advantageous for spectators, as the scene is seen immaculately from all the seats of the hall, without any exception.

The Berliner Philharmonic consists of two halls: the great hall and the smaller hall. While the last one can accommodate only up to 1.180 persons, the great one is foreseen for about 2440 seats!
